I tackled this recently; used the EQ Resource progression page linked above, but there were a couple steps for quest mob spawns/drops or dialog that I used Allakhazam's to get through.

I don't think I've seen him post in a while, but KingArthur did some epic coding based on his posts.

I don't know exactly how I would rank each automation, but automatic looting would be top 5 qol, probably. Definitely dive into using it ASAP! You'll fall in love.
