I found that a druid in my group was the best replacement for my wiz. DPS/Ports, plus you can actually buff and/or heal if needed! (no, I didn't look at the relative DPS, I just know my downtime went to zero, so my overall kill rate went up)

I lean the opposite. they have a BST, so I would go CLR. Leveling up I just ran until my extended targets was full, then stopped and killed all of them. without cleric heals, it wasn't possible (and some of them, I even had BST set to use Mending)
