My understanding (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong) is DRU synergizes with caster groups more than SHM. If he wanted to make a melee or pet group I think SHM would be the better choice.

Also vote ENC in that group. I'd also replace the CLR with a DRU, but that's up to you. I cheat a little (and this obvi depends on your goal for the group), but I run both and let my MAG pet tank in a DRU/ENC/BRD/(some 3 combo of MAG/NEC/WIZ) group. I only really grind with them though; if I...

ENC would definitely get it done, but I don't know if slows are what would do it. Everyone has their opinion on BRD/ENC and I think the popular opinion is BRD, but imo you can't go wrong with an ENC either. They both bring good things and will do fine.

With those 4 I'd lean heavy caster group and add probably a DRU and another MAG. Maybe a NEC because I'd expect fights to take long enough for them to be solid (and also I don't like duplicates in my groups). A Wiz could also be nice, but MAG pets would help each other probably too much for that.

I think one you for sure want on both knights is to bandolier to shield set and hit shield flash. I'm not on my main comp atm to check, but it's something like: /bando board /pause 5 /alt act 1112 Can't tell you how many times I would try to hit it when I had my 2hander out and ended up dying...

Basically the t1 gear in an expansion is non-prestige. My guys are currently in snowbound (ToV) because CoV (the latest unlocked expansion) t1 pieces are no drop and that's a pita to me. I don't have LS to confirm, but I would assume this holds true in it as well so level increase expansions...
