Been playing on an off for 20+ years like most, hopelessly addicted despite it being a huge timesink and extremely frustrating at times, I think many of us are masochists when it comes to this game but we love it anyway. I've walked away numerous times but keep coming back.

I built a new budgetish gaming PC back when Fallout 4 was released in order to play it, GTX-970 i5-6400 16Gigs of RAM, nothing fancy but enough to run that game well. Still using it for EQ to this day, half expecting it to die soon but still chugging along being on for 12+ hours per day every day.

I miss Rift, was one of the slicker MMO launches I've personally partaken in, was pretty good right out the gate.

It really depends on which TLP as they are all at different stages, but I tend to assume Oakwynd for the next 2 weeks unless otherwise specified. If you're going to use a mage pet to tank before TSS you probably going to need at a raid focused pet which might be difficult if you don't raid...

Sadly I have had a few raid geared TLP characters that were deleted in a fit of drunken rage. Like "fuck this game I'm never playing it again" Delete chars so I won't be tempted back. Six to Twelve months later, I can't help myself and reinstall and start over.

I already play the old fashioned way on Truebox TLPs with 3 computers, don't need to go to another server, was just wondering what software if any was available to aid me.

So apparently MQ is off the menu, I thought when it moved to opensource MQNext it was going to work on Truebox but apparently not? I'm not looking to do anything super complicated, my intention is to run some kind of Melee/Tank Ranger SK or Paladin most likely, with a Bard and a Shaman at least...
