Been playing on an off for 20+ years like most, hopelessly addicted despite it being a huge timesink and extremely frustrating at times, I think many of us are masochists when it comes to this game but we love it anyway. I've walked away numerous times but keep coming back.

It really depends on which TLP as they are all at different stages, but I tend to assume Oakwynd for the next 2 weeks unless otherwise specified. If you're going to use a mage pet to tank before TSS you probably going to need at a raid focused pet which might be difficult if you don't raid...

Sadly I have had a few raid geared TLP characters that were deleted in a fit of drunken rage. Like "fuck this game I'm never playing it again" Delete chars so I won't be tempted back. Six to Twelve months later, I can't help myself and reinstall and start over.
