As I understand it, it removes the levitate graphic client-side. Its useful if you're not on a fast computer or connection and the constant movement lags you out.

Clerics and Necros have two forms of invulnerability. Clerics have Divine Barrier and Divine Aura. Necros have Harmshield and Quivering Veil of Xarn. All are 18 secs of invulnerability but the higher level versions have regen on them, at least the cleric's does.
