Win 7 64 & VS 2010 - Compile help (1 Viewer)

Ok i use to do the compile on xp 32 long time ago, just recently decided to come back and play EQ again...

I now run windows 7 64bit, and i am having issues compiling.

Win 7 64
Microsoft Visual Studio 2010
MQ2-20110701

when i open the macroquest2.dsw VS10 says it must be converted... so i am not sure if my issues are in VS10 or in win 7 64

I have been searching for a compile guide on how to use VS 2010 in Win 7 64 with no luck...

My question is, am i doing some thing wrong? or is the Win 7 64 combined with VS 2010 not going to work?
I mean i am not above re-installing a 32bit OS if i need to, or finding my older VS6 installer.

When i try to build only MQ2Main i get this error

Rich (BB code):

Thank you very much... ya the instructions for "Visual C++ 2005/2008 Express" worked like a charm even though i am using Win7 64 with VS2010... I am looking forward to contributing to the new community.. i have not used MQ or EQ since back when you it was redguides, BUT i can remember many wonderful projects.

I know back then one could use community contribution in exchange for paid membership, not sure if you still do some thing similar. But i am told that there is something, so i guess it is a mater of finding some thing worth while.
