Question - Question - spellcasting at range

I have a mage that only seems to cast spells when the target (or the MA?) is within range 60, even when combat state is on and targets are available. It doesn't seem to relate to follow distances (not set to follow), or to camp radius (no camp set), but I can't find if it's a changeable setting anywhere. I am doing one particular encounter, and i want to set my characters about 100 range apart so an aura won't hit them all. But when I set them, the caster won't cast. Is this something I can change? Or do I just need to learn to move them within range 60?

Also, the mage seems to chain-cast Valiant Symbiosis Rk II, like it's not detecting that it has Valiant Symbiosis Recourse Rk II buff already on. Not sure why!

What is your assist range set at in combat settings? I'm not logged in to give you exact instructions but thats what you are looking for.

Brilliant! Thank you, I had not found the AssistRange setting!

I found that the Valiant Symbiosis issue was reported in the Support forum a while ago, and i put more detail there.
