So my tank and mage have very similar names. For example my tank is bobby123 and my mage is bobby123123. I run kiss saying /Mac kissasssist assist bobby123 98 but instead of the SK my bard sets the mage as his MA. I have the SK set as MT, MA, and puller under group roles.

I had an equal problem with my tank and my cleric having nearly the same name. Alllways hab problems with the cleric healing and buffing himself instead of the tank from time to time.

Ended up renaming the cleric

Another solution, you can tag/mark MT and cleric in extended windows and use this for heal the MT, or the cleric.

Doubt it is mq2. EQ is weird.

Make 2 toons with the same prefix

Cannot remembers there order but bob cannot invite bobmarly to group (or visa vera). Tried it with mq2 unloaded still did not want to work, There is even a thread on DB forum about someone else having this problem

If the name is taken and passed correctly you can make it work but that's on the macro author
