Demiplane strats (1 Viewer)

Hi all, I found demiplane sisters and Roley/Adrianna strats on the forums but cant find strats for the other events (hatchet, redfang etc...) Can anyone take a few mins to post some of those strats if you've done them before? Would be greatly appreciated.

for hatchet you must lure him over the open traps and have then trap him which will reset agro but will unlock 20% hp, i think you need to trap him 4 - 5 times before u can kill him.
redfang spawns 4 immediate adds that must be OTd and after 5 mins will despawn and pandemonium breaks out for one minute when tons of smaller/weaker bats spawn and should be killed somewhat quickly after the minute redfang respawns.
 
the first adds with redfang are easily kited. The weaker bat adds that spawn are easily dispatched as well. Time the add spawn and just when it comes, have a couple chanters ae mezz then have your druids ae root. The ae root kills off the adds in one cast. We usually have 4 druids cast at same time and bats go bye bye almost instantly.

The main thing with Redfang is to keep him facing AWAY from the raid force. Have the tank and dp wall him facing away from the healers, cast dps, etc. He casts a directional ae dd that also has a silence component. You will all just sit there dying with no ability to cast at all until it wears off. The fastest way to wipe the raid is to let Redfang face the healers.

Isn't it 4 minutes each despawn of Redfang? Also, Shadowman is correct, but one thing to add is you need to reagro Redfang ASAP when he repops (repops in random spots inside the tower and outside at the bottom) since he will despawn the event if left unagroed too long.
 
The 4 Blooddrinkers that spawn when RF is engaged do NOT despawn during the event they must be kited throughout the script. Blinding them can help - offtanking good luck with that unless ur guild is way past RF and Demi is on farm - OTing is waste of healer mana/resources. They like to back stab so unless your kiters have all 4 AE blockers enjoy the 5K back stabs and 4K lifetaps =)

The voracious bats are dealt with as described - if u pull the the batlings to the raid and have chanters viral mezz them when the voracious spawn on them it will help in CCing the voracious until they are rooted/deaded.

RF is a mother effer. oh yeah and pray he doesnt get up behind one of your tanks he Backstabs for up to 12-13K found out the hard way.

Cycle is 4 min up - 1 minute down - then 1 min to reenage after respawn or event resets from start. The other challenge is pulling him to the raid when he pops way on top he chain summons.
 
bard pull re-engage RF for the win.

Also, make sure you have a ramp tank. When RF is re-engaged have your ramp tank aggro him first. After ramp is done, have your MT take over and turn RF away from raid.
 
for Hatchet i just have audio tiggers made. I made custom Audio triggers with sound recorder and saved these to te audio trigger file c:/sony/everquest/audiotriggers

These are the (at least partial) emotes for which you can fashion audio triggers, which will alert you when Hatchet's about to do one of his trick moves.

Hatchet hefts a weighted throwing axe
This means run away, FAR away, as fast and as far as you can, until you see...
You outdistance the reach of the throwing axe
Danger's passed, you can run back to the rest of the raid.

Hatchet lifts his axe high
You need to run between his legs, and stay there until you see...
By darting between Hatchet's hooves
It's safe; you can come out from between his legs now.

Hatchet levels his axe
You need to DUCK, and stay that way until you see...
Hatchet's axe passes harmlessly overhead
You can stand up now, and resume casting/fighting/running/etc.

Hatchet the Torturer levels his horns
He's gonna charge you; run him around in a big circle until you see...
Hatchet locks eyes with you
Now you run him onto one of the traps that's spawned, and have someone click it the second he's on top of it.

That's pretty much it. If you're running more than 1 toon at the same time, you might want to leave the bot(s) outside Hatchet's room; trying to concentrate on his emotes while operating 2+ toons is a recipe for suicide.
