Default setting in Docrack (1 Viewer)

Thought I read in a post here that adding an entry of "Defaultsetting=on" in appropriate sections in Docrack.ini would set their status as indicated when Docrack was loaded.

Doesn't seem to work as I expected (set 4 or 5). Only one item is auto-activated. In testing, I removed the defaultsetting entry for that item and it still auto-activated!!! Unloaded MQ, tried again, same result.

Any guidance would be helpful (...and pointing me to a reference would be just fine...)

Now to the original post.. I put the default line at each offest and I too only had one activate... but that was close enough for me...

before that the tradenodrop was set to on and fooked me up a couple times.. so that one is off now.. and nostun is on ..I R HAPPY

Just a question, are you putting the D and S in caps? IE

as opposed to

defaultsetting

I don't think it would matter, but what do I know?

I can understand your initial reaction: lots of folks come in here looking for the easy way. Typing the characters is not an issue; my question was largely to further my own knowledge: is it not working because of something I have or haven't done or is it fundamental behaviour over which I have no control?

I have too many grey hairs to switch to effectively thinking in C++ mode, so hondling plugin source will stay beyond my means. I rely upon, and am ever thankful for, the knowledge and efforts of others in the MQ environment. My playing experience has been truly enhanced by what you help make available. Just want to be sure I'm in a position to take maximum advantage of what everyone has to offer.

I add all my docrack in my macro when they arew required and I also have a hot button that start all of them...

To ure question..not sure why the default setting lines are not working sorry..but like Cade said just type it or make hotbuttons for it, very easy if ya ask me(What is it with kids these days always wanting the easiest way to do things...Dammit jim put some elbow grease into it lol)

hadnt thought about setting a default settin, I was just going to use my hot key maker and write the 5 lines in for the ones I want on. then it would type in with a click. Or is that something that could be discovered?

Another good way to activate all docrack is to add the command in your Macro, I have add them to my AFK Bard macro and that way I dont even have to click on my hotbutton lol, even starting the bard macro have a hotbutton, so in 1 click I activate a dozen docrack, memorize spell, start macro... what a lazy person im I...
