Problem - Communion of the Cheetah

Shaman AA group cheetah buff, I can't get it working. I figured this would be the correct format?

That would be correct ... however... communion of the cheetah currently does not respond to a normal alt activate call in game by name.. only by number.


/alt activate "Communion of the Cheetah" .... FAIL states yo have no such ability ... when i know i have the aa purchased... it's not seeing the name of aa correctly.

/alt activate "939" ..... SUCCESS

So there is something going on where the name is not correct in what the game is seeing.

Druid Communion of the Cheetah is /alt act 939.
Shaman Communion of the Cheetah is /alt act 152.

If I use Buffs16=Communion of the Cheetah|MA it chain cast it, dunno if that means anything..

/alt activate "Communion of the Cheetah" .... FAIL states yo have no such ability ... when i know i have the aa purchased... it's not seeing the name of aa correctly.

152 is the SHAMANS version of the aa.. 939 the DRUID version... i don't have a high level shammy.. so tested it with my TreeHuginDruid ...
If does not recognize the actual aa name "Communion of the Cheetah" ... using that name itself fails.... not sure how to determine WHAT text it is looking for for spell name.. only that it does not recognize the exact spelling of correct aa name..... can only get it to fire in eq via normal "/alt activate" eq method of calling alt ability.. via aa number not name.

odd, it works in some zone..

Can you please test using in known OUTDOOR zone... post results.. then use in a known INDOOR zone.. and post result as well for both attempts.

Wanna determine if its a zone issue based on outdoor/indoor... should NOT be... just wondering....

These spells are no longer restricted by indoor/outdoor. also this is a stupid fucking spell.

It probably keeps casting because the single version only lasts 48 secs

It's definately a bug in eqgame.exe ... a standard "/alt activate" eq command fails on the name but succeeds on the alt number.
Someone might actually have to do a useless /bug to SOE on it.. and wait for them to ignore it for years like they usually do.

Still waiting on them to fix a spell name for mage where it is "Rk II" instead of "RK. II" .. in spells_us.txt, they still haven't addressed that after years of monthly bug reports on it.

It's defo a EQ bug, staying in the same zone camping for hours a named, with mounts up- suddenly it will start casting it, then for awhile not.. shammies get aas to extend it, can be handy for pulling purposes, but you can safely move this to the bottom of the list imo

/BUG report created on my Druid to report it.

BUG INFO SUBMITTED TO SOE:
Confirmed BUG in game. Druid class can NOT activate "Communion of the Cheetah" via in game alt activate method by name. I purchased the aa "Communion of the Cheetah", went to activate it with /alt activate "Communion of the Cheetah" ... error returned back in game "You don't have that ability". HOWEVER, if i activate the aa number /alt activate "939" it works fine. This has been confirmed by other druids.

Lets see what happens.... don't hold your breath though.

Add this to the bottom of the MQ2Melee section... works for shaman... change both 152's to 939 for druids.
