Ok this is my bard hud. I can change it to fit most class. Just tell me what class you would like me to make.

You download your class "MQ2HUD.ini" and put it in your MQ2 root folder. If its not there try hitting F11...

BARD:
Hud looks:
Main looks like this:
main.JPG

(can remove add stuff you would like too)

Puller feature:
The puller section (lowest in the hud) will tell you how many mobs there are within 25 yards of your target.

Below that it shows you in order of closest to your target:
add_number, add_level, add_full_name

Mouse feature:
LOS:
A small green "+" over your mouse icon tells if you are in line of sight
OOR:
A Green text "In range" for when you are and a red text "OOR" when you are not

Some pictures to explain:
oor.JPG
inrange.JPG

If there are not a "+" your but still "In range" you are in range but out of sight and so on..

Hope you like it

All classes we have so far in one - test amd working
To get the all-in-1 to work:
1.) have the all-in-1 in your root folder
2.) log in to EQ with your char
3.) logout (char select is enoth)
4.) Open the MQ2HUD.ini in notepad (or other)
5.) in the end of the file you will see;
[CharName_Server]
Last=Element
SkipParse=1
CheckINI=10
UpdateInBackground=on
ClassHUD=on
ZoneHUD=on

Change that to:
[CharName_Server]
Last=Elements,class
SkipParse=1
CheckINI=10
UpdateInBackground=on
ClassHUD=on
ZoneHUD=on[/I]

Class being; ,bard / ,mage or what ever

Dont see your class here?
PM decker:
1.)Your class 2.) The full aa name, 3.) if you need timer on it / times you can cast before you are oom

I took the beast hud out for a spin and while it's nice, there's 2 minor noticeable bug. the pet name's off to the left and overlapping AA area. Also one of the AA's status (BA to be exact) is also off to the left and messing up. See screen shot of the beast HUD (with my name hidden) Lastly if PoS is perfection of spirit, I don't have that but I do have paragon of spirit so I'mn wondering iof that needs to be adjusted or not. IMO perfection is not big enough upgrade from paragon to make it worth the AA's

How about a ranger one with trueshot, auspice of the hunter, and guardian of the forest. Just to see what it would look like ofcourse.

Added ranger

Ohh and let me know if they are working plz

Mage hud added (due to request there are no green x at mouse etc)

Warrior would be nice:

Area Taunt with timer
Incite/Bellow with # of casts until out of endurance
PC's in shielding range

Cleric HUD is working and gtg .... nice work!

Ooooh these look very very nice! The line of sight/oor thing looks incredibly useful. :)

If you want to/have the time, could you make a necro one with elapsed DoT/root times (meaning it will tell you how long it has been since the DoT landed on the mob/root) instead of the AA Countdown window? Or an Ench one with slow/mez/charm elapsed timers? And if you could (or tell me how and I'll do it) take out the AA Points Available/Spent/Total, Atk Speed, and End Level/Regen/Countdown on both, that would be great. ^_^

If you do it then thank you so much and def. redcent for you, if not I'll give you one anyways because I'll be using the cleric one for sure. :) Thank you!

EDIT: Heh, also thought it'd be funny on the necro one to have a huge Red bolded text in the middle of the screen that says "IDIOT!" when you don't have lich on. But, don't add that. :)

I need to think that one over... But cant see why it should not work...

I fixed an issue with the mage one.. so that should work...

Also i see ppl saying: Nice work and stuff.. But are not getting many: The x-class is working..

Ooooo X-Class is that like X-Men? Reminds me of the shark for the old Nintendo that would let you do game cross overs.

I'd be interesting to see a WoW char in EQ ... lol

Added one: All classes we have in one.. Please help testing it...

Something that would be nice for a paladin would be how many more procs of Ward of Tunare you have left :)

I started making a class HUD, using your mage and SK ones as a base, for my Ench and Necro (respectively). I was trying to find a way to show how much longer mez/slow would stay on the target mob. I can post the code now if it would help (although the enchanter one is lacking in the AA timers if you ask me).

Hello, I am a biggy newbie when it comes to programing, executables, macros etc but I think I follow directions well (slowly but eventually I get there.) I think I am missing a basic action that would allow me to use/activate your (any) hud. Please tell me where I am wrong ? ))

I copied your mq2hud ini into my mq2 root. I then started up mq2, followed by EQ. I typed '/plugin mq2hud'. I then log out, edit the mq2hud.ini file by going to the bottom of the file, enter "Tom_servername.txt", and the specific class of my chararcer "Last=Elements,druid" in the first line. I log back in, type '/plugin mq2hud' and enter. The MQ screen says the plugin is loaded but there is no change to my screen. I have typed F11 and still no change. I type in 'loadhud druid', I receive the hud druid is loaded message, but nothing changes on my screen, even after F11. I even tried 'loadhud Tom_servername' but this just came back as a bad command.

Can you tell me what actions I need to take to correct this. I'm a new mq2'er, read lots of posts and guides and the manual but sometimes I feel there must be a basic step that I miss that makes me clueless. )) I'm just and old fart but I have been eq'in for a long time.

Any help would be appreciated. ))

Where do you plug in the named spawns you want to track? I tried putting it here.
NS1=3,5,467,0,255,0,~ (replaced ~)

But it didn't work.

Should it be put here?
Spawn1a=3,5,479,0,255,0,#1 (replacing #1)

NS lines is just for adding the line:

~~~~NAMED SPAWNS~~~~
on you hud...
Rich (BB code):
Spawn1a=3,5,479,0,255,0,#1
Spawn1b=3,35,479,255,255,0,${If[${NearestSpawn[1,npc named].Name.NotEqual["NULL"]},${NearestSpawn[1,npc named].Level},]}
Spawn1c=3,51,479,255,0,0,-
Spawn1d=3,60,479,255,255,255,${If[${NearestSpawn[1,npc named].Name.NotEqual["NULL"]},${NearestSpawn[1,npc named].CleanName},]}
Is for finding the nearest NPC spawn. You need it all to get this line:
Number Level Full name
Hope this clears it up.
If you want it to only look for one mob then you need another code... Cant see why you would inclute that in a hud but guess we can figure it out if thats what you mean...
- decker
So if I want to track a mob called "orc pawn" how would I put that into the hud so it appears in the list?
Hmmm someone needs to assist on that.. I dont have an open account atm..
Think Ill have to get one so I can test some stuff...
- decker
So do the named spawns just auto populate then? I never noticed anything in that list..maybe I am just blind.
The one here just find the nearest named NPC and types the name and level of it..
If the hud still works it will give you the 10 nearest named NPCs...
- decker
I copied and pasted the mage ini file over mine to see if I could get the named spawn thing working. The named spawns did not populate in any zone I was in lastnight. I did not see any difference between my ini file and the one here but just in case I missed something.
I have tried numerous times to get this working, and I cant get it working. I have tried both the class one for a mage and the all-in-1 for mage and druid?If someone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate. I copy paste it into root folder, overwriting other one. then in game toggle netstat...nothing. with all in one I follow the directions as well, but still nothing. when i load plugin it loads fine but?
