A TLP without truebox has thawed (Very Vanilla ready)
Just an update on this.
I deleted the navmesh files for the problematic zones and confirmed I no longer crash. I have begun the process of generating some very stripped-down navmesh files and have posted for suggestions in the MQ2Nav discussion page.
Navmesh noob here.
I am trying to resolve and issue I see on my private Emu server where MQ2Nav crashes due to the large size of the navmesh file (at least that’s what I have gathered so far).
I was able to regenerate a much smaller (and definitely not great) navmesh file for the zone and the...
Yeah, I tried going to https://mqmesh.com/kunark.php and grabbing those mesh files. I also tried regenerating the navmesh via the generator that ships with macroquest. Definitely struggles to function once the navmesh is fully generated (gets super choppy), but both the downloaded version and...
So I seem to have narrowed this down to mq2nav and I believe the problem has to do with zones that have really large navmesh files.
To set some context:
- This is on an EMU server
- Zones confirmed having this issue are The Burning Woods (navmesh is 89.82MB) and The Warsliks Woods (navmesh is...
I know base resists are listed in the Character object, but I don't see a way to get the "Character" object for an NPC. The usecase here is if I am a mage in Solusek B and I'm fighting a fire resist mob (like a Fire Giant), then I'm not going to want to spam my fire line.

Hey there folks. I'm running macroquest2 on an emu server and I've noticed a few times now that mq2nav is failing to load the mesh due to being out of memory. Is this a known issue? I seem to be able to get it to work again by restarting EQ.
So I confirmed that Mq2Lua plugin was loaded. Noticing some other odd behavior, but it's been a while since I've used MA, so I could be mis-remembering the behavior I'm expecting. Will review the .mac and post or on forums if any questions or issues come up.
Been a while since I've been by here. I just stood up my own emu server as a sort of hobby. I wanted to toy around with MQ2 on it with MAUI and when I try to load up maui, I'm getting en error within the lua/mq/ImguiHelper.lua (line 41) saying Cannot delay while importing a module. I tried...
You would right click a spell you have defined in MAUI and one of the options there was to mem that spell in the first available spot in your spell bar. You'd have to have an empty spell gem (nothing memmed in it) for it to do anything.
Ahh ok got it on the INI file name. I made the assumption that the start macro button was passing the ini file name to muleassist based on whatever file you had designated. That makes sense though that it's literally passing the command as it's typed there and not appending to it.
