FAQ

Q. The UI Window Doesn't save my settings?

  • A. This is intentional. The UI acts as a "hot swap" allowing you to adjust on the fly. If you want to "save" your settings, adjust it with the slash command.
  • Explained here > UI Video @ 9:10 <

Q. My UI window isn't saving the location

  • A. > CWTN UI Video < follow these steps:
  • 1. move it to where you want it
  • 2. close the window
  • 3. /ber show to reshow it - eq will now have the window saved

Q. How do I load the ber window?

  • A. /ber show

Q. Does this work for all levels?

  • A. Yes.

Q. My Berzerker won't assist or chase even though that's the set plugin mode.

  • A. Designate a member of the group as the main assist in the group by right-clicking on their name and assigning them the role in the group window

Q. Why is my berzerker using battle leap even though I set UseBattleLeap to off?

  • A. Because they need to do it once to get the permanent buff (once per zone/death) which increases damage.

Q. Sometimes my berzerker won't chase the MA.

  • A. Probably have Frenzied Resolve Discipline as their currently active disc, which roots you in place. Sometimes this can be annoying. You can /ber UseFrenied off, to turn off that ability. But be aware that significantly reduces your overall average DPS. We automatically click off frenzied resolve if you're in chasemode and stuck behind your MA.

Q. My BerZerker isn't using stun/jolt/snare axes.

  • A. It's not coded to use them. It's designed strictly to use DPS abilities. The Jolt/Stun axes are on the same timer as DPS abilities and using jolt/stun axes would remove DPS from the BerZerker.

Statement: I know a better way to do it then you do.

  • Response: Go write your own plugin.

Q. My plugin says it's out of date since I patched.

  • A. For Live: Check the plugins tab of your VV launcher. For Emu/Test: it is automatically downloaded when you update.

Q. Why does it not use Dissident?

  • A. You might not actually have it. EQ Has an issue where it doesn't give you your rank 1, even if you have Dissident Rage - If you have Tier 1 of Dissident ensure you actually have the "Dissident Rage 1" in your spellbook - if you do not, go to Virtuous Dusk in Stratos and say "reminder" to "update" your rank 1 ability

Q. Where do I get Axe Components & Do I need them?!

  • A. Yes, you 100% need them. You can get them from the Berzerker Merchants in PoK Library area - like Gaddi Buruca. /nav spawn npc Gaddi

Q. Which Axe Components do I get?

  • A.
  • Basic Axe Components 1 - 29
  • Axe Components 30 - 54
  • Balanced Axe Components 55 - 95,
  • Crafted Axe Components 96 - 100,
  • Fine 100 - 115

Q. Why is it using Demolishing/Mangling over Vindicating?

  • A. We have logic in mq2berzerker to handle what rank of your synergy AA line you have. If you don't have high enough Synergy it is going to use the lower ability to get that sweet sweet synergy proc.

Q. What is the deal with limited health?

  • A. Zerkers have a bunch of abilities that require them to be injured to use.
  • Once you get lvl/aa/abilities that value will end up being 89% health.
  • Open Wound Rk. I maxes out at 117k or 89% whichever is lower.
  • Open Wound Rk. II maxes out at 122k or 89% whichever is lower.
  • Open Wound Rk. III maxes out at 127k or 89% whichever is lower.
  • Ritual Scarification Rk. I maxes at 324k or 89% whichever is lower.
  • Ritual Scarification Rk. II maxes out at 340k or 89% whichever is lower.
  • Ritual Scaritifaction Rk. III maxes at 357k or 89% whichever is lower.
  • - UseBloodFury is now available even if you have a limiter.
  • -- (Check your settings! Remember, to save your settings you need to type in the command, not use the window!)
  • -- It's only used for abilities that require your health be dropped to fire.

Q. Epic 1.5/2.0?

  • A. We automatically use your 1.5/2.0.

Q. I don't want to use disconcerting, I want to use Mangling

  • A. /ber UseMangling on

Q. Snare?

  • A. We don't use the snare line of discs since they share a timer with damage abilities, but if you have UseBindingAxe turned on, we will use that AA.

Q. Alliance?

  • A. Alliance will check against the mob's current buffs/debuffs to ensure it isn't already "allianced" but we don't do any checking or communicating with other group members, so if you need/want your berzerkers to ensure they don't click their button at the same time you will want to do something like stagger their assistat values.
  • 2 Zerkers *can* trigger alliance during burns with their little pet out, but our regular alliance checks for 3 or more group members, so if you want to use alliance any time else, you will want to turn on usealliance and forcealliance.

Q. Why am I Not Pulling XYZ mob?

  • A. Not pulling a mob is almost always an issue either with your Navmesh or your pull settings. If you do a /zerk debugpull on once and it will cycle 1 time and spit out in your mq2 window all the mobs and why you are not pulling them. Compare the output with the mobs you think you should be pulling and it will tell you why. This will notify you if you have no nav path, or out of zradius, or regular radius, or on ignore, etc.

Q. Trying to go mode 1 but says I need a mesh?

  • A. The plugins require mq2nav for movement. You will need to run the mesh updater in your RedGuide's Launcher. Please watch the video [https://youtu.be/Rk8JICQiA5I > HERE
