Question - everquest on a server (1 Viewer)

does anyone play eq on a server? I have a 64 core 64 gig server that just came available wondered if feasable

well, im wondering if you can PLAY eq, not emulate on a server.

i have one server thats 12 core (24 with hyper threading) and plays eq. I do use mq2eqwire and I did install a gtx 1030

I don't own a desktop. All my machines are rackmounts. Either OEM (Dell/etc) or DIY's. And we were discussing this in the discord channel just yesterday. Servers work fine.

lol do you put em in the basement? then wire a moniter upstairs. this server sounds like a jet taking off

Sitting right beside me in my office. I have quiet systems.

As long as the video card supports it, it will work. It may crash if there is no monitor attached however, but that would also make it hard to play (unless you remote in like I do).
