Re: RedQuest v1.2 NO. Taunt would never lower your total aggro. Taunt does indeed put you at the very top of the aggro list (either +1 or +10 depending on which parse you believe). Low health, sit, etc can override you being at the top of the aggro so the mob can finish off a useless caster...
