Let me preface this, I am only discussing here, not whining how unfair life is or anything. I am at work during a slow period and have nothing better to do than to discuss the game with people who share my interest in it. I am having a blast playing the game and bulling my way through the progression quests and such...
So I have gotten the SK up to 5200AC and 220,000 HP or so group buffed and he can pull and tank just about any trash mob in Overthere but the named mobs still eat him alive. I have:
110 SK full conflagrant armor, shield and weapon. 20,000 AAs
110 Enchanter full conflagrant armor, shield and weapon. 20,000 AAs
110 Cleric full conflagrant armor, shield and weapon. 20,000 AAs
110 Rogue full conflagrant armor, shield and weapons 16,000 AAs
110 Mage full conflagrant armor, shield and weapon 16,000 AAs
110 Wizard full conflagrant armor, shield and weapon 16,000 AAs
It's funny but on some of the trash the cleric died due to bad pull and it seemed like the SK didn't even need him. He seemed to self heal enough that the group killed the mob then got the cleric back on his feet.
The named mobs though, I was pretty sure that Overthere was the starting zone for RoS and was hoping to be able to take it on with my group. The named seem to rip through me like no one's business. I don't know what else I can do to improve my toons at this point short of raid gear. I have AC augs in all my gear (farmed for them) and the 50AC aug in my shield so I can't see much to upgrade there, I have all the defensive AAs i can buy and am working of the offensive stuff now.
For the most part the Mage's earth pet seems to tank as well or better than I do and he is only 106 with the focus item I have.
Personally I think it has a lot to do with my cleric's healing, I am using KA11 but even that seems a bit slow at times. I would like to set something up (and I am going to work on it when I get home) that incorporates more HoTs and maybe up the %'s of when he does his instant heals. here is what I have now:
