With Intel releasing the new I7 coffee lake and I5 coffee lake I personally wait---
the new I7 with be 6 cores 12 threads prices at 359$ US which is going to be on par with the ryzen pricing but performance is going to be little better.
The new I5 is exactly on par with the ryzen byt price is like 310$ for extra 49$ I'd go with I7

Waiting for them to be released and I'll be ording mine same day

William12 is right here when it comes to the new I5 ryzen is going to beat it but the new I7 seems overall still from what my research shows to be on top of ryzen

Right now im boxing with I5 4cores 4 threads and getting 24 accounts going about 45% cpu usage

I do have it liquid cool'd and overclocked to 4ghz

i5 only wins in single thread performance. If you're boxing multiple toons in EQ ryzen will destroy it. 24 toons use 40% of my CPU. I load that on my i7 and it uses twice that.

Tried telling him that earlier but he's an Intel guy.

Sokay.. I'm an nvidia guy who pairs with AMD.
