I am just passing on a bit of information that i didn't know about until yesterday. I think some of you may find it useful, i know i did.

Here is a list of the software availiable:

There are 2 ways of proving you are a student. First way is they have set up programs with select schools around the country. If your school is in the program then its super simple to get.

The second way is to go through a 3rd party company called: journeyEd. you go to their website here: http://www.journeyed.com/itemDetail.asp?itmNo=11111726&sSrcCode=MSTOOLS
and buy the DreamSpark Package for 0.00$ then you fax,email, mail them proof that you are a student (student id, letter from school on school letterhead, current schedule with a date) things like that:
