Discussion - Unable to register new EQ account (1 Viewer)

Anyone come across this?
Made a new e-mail and was going to register 2 new accounts to use.
(I did make another e-mail to register 2 accounts a couple of days ago, one of those accounts required using 2FA after I logged on it the first time. Which I then added)
Is there a limit on how many new accounts you can register? (I know I can probably just use a VPN or a mobile hotspot to be able to register but thats a project for tomorrow).

imagine if they start banning your IPs / hardware from making new accounts. Making it hard for ban one make 6 more approach

One time I put a birth year that's too young and it gave me that. Try creating one from one of their other game websites (eq2, dcuo, etc.).

I had this happen when I made 3 char in one day.. not 2fa, or super anti cheat.. the cookies on the website when I registered account 2, I didnt exit browser window, so went to validate email, said #2 is validated, I'm like this is #3, its like FU.. contacted CS, and they where able to manually validate account.

Pretty much its because the website and authentication is from 1944, and its to much (or to complex) to fix... so email CS, they will help (least for me). Been going on 5 years with that 1 char NOT having a email assigned lol.

I had this exact error recently when I was making a boat load of accounts. Turned out it was the new email I had set up just to do that with. In fact I set up a couple new emails and EQ did not like any of them.

So I used one of my old emails that I have had with EQ for some time and it worked fine. Right after I made each account I went into account management and changed the email to those new emails I had set up. It will ask you to verify the first email when you do that but that is no big deal.

The F2A kicks in when you try to make too many accounts in 24 hours. I think I have it narrowed down to no more than 3. I would make 3, log them in and let them sit around for a while, maybe go to pok with Throne Of Hero's, maybe just stay in tutorial, maybe skip tutorial. The I let those 3 set and made 3 more the next day.

Now these are all free accounts to start with. You can put Krono or CC on them later but do not buy any Krono from DBG for at least the first month or that might set off the F2A.

I have never heard of a final limit on the number of accounts only a limit on how many you can make in a day. I have found no evidence that different emails make any difference for suspensions or bans. They can still connect the accounts other ways.
