Question - Kissassist Error ninjadvloot (1 Viewer)

I installed using Redfetch and it might have had an issue due to my firewall requiring confirmation of everything which took me a few seconds. It had some problems with downloading / updating and then didn't work in game. So I reinstalled using the standard folder instead of a custom folder. Still getting the same problem.

With the new install Redfetch seems to have updated everything and macroquest runs in the tray. Autologin even works and gets me into the game. I have a MQNearBy window and a MQSearchItem window.

I have an MQ window but it only says:
MQ2Rez Initiated Version 3.09
Type /rez help for list of commands
Thanks for using MQNearBy. You have ~24 days left until you need to re-patch with the RedGuides.

Then when I try /mac kissassist it says:
Couldn't open include file:
c:\users\public\redfetch\Downloads\vanillaMQ_EMU\Macros\Ninjadvloot.inc
The current macro ended.
Unable to add macro line.

Look in your Macros folder for a file named Ninjadvloot.inc. Also might want to look at ini and make sure that Loot=0 in the [General] section. If that inc file is not there, Try the attached one.

You solved it thank you!

It created a ninjadvloot folder somewhere but macros folder only had several .mac files. I tried copying ninjadvloot.inc in there and kiss worked!

can you screensnip the error

Take an easy screen snip with:
Shift + Windows_Key + S or Print Screen Button (Win 11)
then select the area you wish to copy,
then Control+V to paste it in the reply

place this ninjadvloot.inc in your Macros folder

then you should be trying to run kissassist with /mac kissassist
make sure you're not trying to /plugin kissassist

Good day everyone! So I am very new to all this and a returning EQ player that wants more out of the game than just 1 character at a time. I have been reading guides ( A lot of them) and downloaded the MQ2. Got my accounts loaded in and all the profiles set for which boxes I want together on each server. I keep seeing kissassist all over as the thing to use to help make your character do things in game. However once I am in game and I type /mac kissassist the window shows me where mq2 is and then says kissassist failed and will not run.

Anyone have some pointers on this so I can get started on my fresh journey?

Back to EQ after many years when kissassist was popular.

Typing /mac kissassist in game is not creating an ini file for character. I have been reading for hours an still cannot figure it out. I am obviously missing something. Appreciate the help. Getting follow

Couldn't open include file:
C:\Users\Public\redfetch\Downloads\VanillaMQ_LIVE\Macros\ninjadvloot.inc
The current macro has ended.
Unable to add macro line.

I suspect its something simple I am missing.
