Guide - TBM gear no Prestige on Gear (1 Viewer)

Today one of my accounts went to non subbed and I noticed all the TBM gear even tier 3 has no prestige markings so you can use all the TBM gear without subbing... Silly Daybreak!

ya only raid gear is prestige. TBM augs are not even prestige.

This would be even more awesome if there were no progression requirements for purchasing augs from vendors for Remnants of Tranquility and making armor.

For example you can't transform this if you have not done the progression(unsure how much progression you need) http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=124610

As it is it is a major chore to outfit alts in TBM gear..

lol it takes 15m to get the mirror clicky (which lets you buy all the gear).

Depends on how well geared you are I suppose.

Into the Temple (a) -> Seal of Approval are indeed 15 minutes of running that anyone can do.

Into the Temple (b) is something that you actually have to pay attention to if you have undergeared alts at 105

Still it gets really old fast. It is not hard but just time consuming.

It is a chore if you have 30+ alts (1st world problem I know).

I shudder to think what Razkle goes through in TBM.

I got 30 someodd alts as well. I geared up 1 core group, then shifted to farming named. My plan is to get a core group with 1-2 slots that are swapable, and make a script to run it. The initial part is the only real tricky part for me (from a "auto puller" stand point) once that is done by hand, the rest should be scriptable (though the variable on note placement up north ought to be challenging)

After that... load core 3-5 toons plus odd toons out, get started on task. May take a bit to work through, but I figure by the time I get all my toons through, I ought to have some sort of workable script for later toons. Once it is decent enough, can run 2 groups at the same time through TempleB, till everyone has mirror (and can consolidate the remnants to aug'ing out the core group) before moving on to the next series of tasks.

A lot of the Life ones I already have paths for, to speed up moving (and make sure I don't lose someone on group in like the tunnels, heh)

You can transform the gear as long as you have purchased the X-pac, no progression is needed. You need to complete Into the Temple B to buy anything off the merchants. 100% sure this is the case as I am currently purchasing 6 copies of TBM as I type this for my newest 6 and when I got to the cleric I literally bought the X-pac just to relog/make the gear to aug it up before sending him out to his most certain doom naked =P

I think you are right about the transforming, I might have tried the transforming armor on a TDS only char (on FV).

I just need to get off my lazy ass and script Into the Temple B.
