Hello guys, I have a few questions again
1] How do I make my ranger opt to use a bow over melee?
I've tried putting my bow under DPS with syntax: bow item name|arrow name
Didn't work
Judging from other locations such as "Mez' "Rez" and other class specific information in the kissassist.ini for each character, I'm guessing that there should likely be a place for your rogue or ranger with 'Archery/Bow" and "Arrow" as an option, which I don't see anywhere - anyway these are just random guesses. I seem to do more damage with a bow then my melee, so I figure its best to stand back, pull with snare, then conitinue with archery for primary DPS
2] My enchanter is currently using group buffs for Clarity / Haste, so I've just simply put the spell name under Buffs, however it seems that my enchanter is not checking mercenaries, pets, nor the group for their buffs. Example; if he has the buff, he wont cast it - if a member dies and gets a res, he wont rebuff them, he doesn't check members for buffs, what am I doing wrong? Does it have to have single target to check everyone?
3] Mounts: Some zones don't allow mounts, and unfortunately my character keeps casting it over and over again even though it keeps erroring as 'not allowed indoors' I've used the mount name, and also tried mount name|Mount to see if it made a different, in the end I was forced to remove the mount spell from the buff list and /end, and restart kissassist for it to stop using the mount, but hwy have to keep trying to remove and add mounts to buff list? am I doing soething wrong, or is the kissassist incapable of realizing when it's castable in that particular area, or if its not? Any info is appreciated
4] When you use /macro kissassist and target a tank, and have a /kissassist puller, how does the character pulling know where to pull, and how does the other character with just /macro kissassist act as to the area its in, I notice it moves around whens fighting targets, or looting, does it try to keep itself in the original area then /kissassist was activated, or does it not care about where it ends up, or if it moves from original location?
I assume the puller trys to keep near the group member/members?
5] Camps, how do you set them up? Do you have to use a campfire to have kissassist centralize in a particular location? I've never had a campfire, and reading he manual seems like its needed, so I will be trying to do the quest in POK for the campfire today, any info on this would be appreciated
6] When I set my ranger, (or any class really) as a /kissassist puller, ive noticed (since im using chapterhouse for xp) Its having a hard time trying to run around and pull, since its more of a mazelike zone, its not really open flat land, so it seems to have trouble finding a clear visual on all mobs, what are my options to best situate my kissassist, if there is any way at all, to more successfully move around in chapterhouse and pull mobs. Im kind of guessing maybe then macro needs to have an idea of the zone map, or something, theres so many ways to go around the corners and pull, but it will just stand there and pull down or up the hallway, based on what it can see/target, any suggestions? This is really important to me, pls help =]
7] Finally, my last question is this; how many licks does it take to get to the center of a lollipop? lol
