I sadly missed the EQOA days, as I was heavily involved with live at the time and didn't even know about its existence, despite owning a PS2!

Kinda reminds me of old eye of the beholder games when looking through inventory and other menus. I did just click through the video though.

It had so much potential being the first MMO on a console. but i seem to remember it being really difficult to use the online adaptor.

I played it for awhile but it was so less intuitive compared to live that I gave it up. Also there was no way to box on one system like a PC

The emulator has made huge strides recently. It's nowhere near feature complete but I was able to run around in-game for a while a week or two ago and relive some teenaged nostalgia. They have a pretty big Discord community here:

I was hopeful that the Alchemist class would make its way into EQ because it was so damn fun.
