I just got the latest offsets off of forever-hack and compiled the plugin with the latest release of MQ, everything in the window in game is blue which i assume means it is turned off. when i click on it it comes up in my MQ window that there is a date discrepancy and the memory will not be changed. here is my ini file could someone plz tell me what i am doing wrong.

Well there has been a patch so they won't work now, but if you get updated offsets and this problem persists (and you KNOW the offsets are updated) try removing the "version" line from each offset like this:

I figured out where the descrepancy exists. When I scroll my mouse over my MQ icon in the task bar the date comes up Sept 23 2004 so i changed the date in the ini to 2004.09.23 and bam worked perfectly. My only question is why is that date not updating?

Ok, I know that this is pretty stupid of me, but I am tired of searching, so I'll just ask and hope somebody answers. Where am I pasting these offests that I have found on the forums? I have gotten MQ2DoCrack to compile, but now I am stuck. When I execute MQ2.exe it will generate a DoCrack.dll file, and I can load DoCrack, but then a "/docrack list" says "available cracks:error".
So then I opened docrack.dll with notepad and copied in the offsets over everything. This results in me not being able to load DoCrack at all. So thats where I am at, not sure what else to do from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

saved and then when I tried to /plugin MQ2DoCrack I get an error:
"The Application or DLL C:\....mq2docrack.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette"
So, I'm confused.

I'm guessing that's the problem. Delete the DLL and get it from zedmix's compile or recompile yourself.

downloaded zedmix's compile from the mq for beginners thread, used the docrack.dll to replace the one in my release folder, and recompiled. Loads up fine, but again, doing /docrack list, it generates an error. I am thinking that the one I downloaded is not up to date, how do I get into the dll file to edit that. and then do I need to recompile everything after I edit the .dll? Thanks for all the help, I know I am kind of slow =(
