Question - new melee focused group

( WAR or SK ) / CLR / SHM / BRD / ROG / (ROG or BER) SK has more survivability for group content in general, but War is the core defensive tank for harder stuff and raids while dishing out good damage too. AFAIK, Sic runs a WAR and CLR for group stuff and does just fine. I suggested both CLR...

Question - My Tank Doesn't Suck Anymore, but....

I may sound like a dumb rambling Goblin, but this is my two cents regarding the cleric vs Shaman thing, based on what I've been told and learned (and it also heavily depends on what content and level range you plan to play on): Shaman only truly shines at higher levels for healing (around or...

    News - EQ Music 2024

I caught myself a couple days ago staying on the character selection screen for a couple minutes listening to the new menu music from this new expansion. Pretty good stuff in my opinion..!

IRL - Also returning to EQ after a break, New to MQ!

Welcome back to our beloved and addictive Evercrack! Many things have changed, but it is a good time to rediscover this game on your own schedule and terms. RedGuide's MQ2 systems with VV made the entire thing so much more streamlined and very simple to setup. It sure is a different experience...

Happy birthday Sic! Your work is nothing but simply awesome and impressive. May the beer be flowing and the bugs stay far away from your projects!

IRL - been gone so long need help

Welcome back pal..! Usually and personally when I don't touch EQ for a while I like to take an evening to do a round up of things RG related and re-familiarize myself with stuff. It really doesn't take too long before you get to start rolling with your team once again. Take your time, enjoy, and...

Question - What are some good Instances to level in?

Almar's leveling guide covers a whole lot about potential leveling zones depending on which expansion leveling path you want to focus on, or in general.

Discussion - returning player - whats a good duo?

Shadowknight + Shaman is the classic true and tested duo. MNK + SHM is fantastic too, but any melee pairs well with a shaman to be fair. In extra if you're feeling up to it, throwing in a bard is a great addition too.

Discussion - Hail, and good tidings

I have posted a new guide for it under the Public Knowledge category, so you can check that out if you still struggle with it. Though I haven't managed to find how to get RG's MQ2 stuff running under Linux, so I'm back on Windows because of it. Godspeed..!

Hey there, Windows & Linux user here, if you're struggling to get Everquest running under the mighty pinguin OS, here's a short guide for it. (This can be done under any Linux distribution that can support gaming in general) ⚠️ Warning - This is only for getting Everquest's older and newest...

Discussion - anyone else feel guilty on how much money they spend on everquest?

Honestly if you're more of an indoors person, it's much cheaper than anything else outside, so there's no shame in treating yourself with some good ol' EQ..! :P

Discussion - Coming back to EQ (an illustrated story)

It's hard to fully immerse into Evercrack on your own without Redguide's tools to smoke the most out of it..!

Discussion - So i finally locked down my boxes

I'm not so sure about the bard, as usually a melee team will benefit more from it in DPS rates, as opposed to casters.

Toast - I have another 24 hours without Internet or TV

I have a full collection of retro games on old Playstation and Nintendo systems with many many RPGs and other genres. I have thousands of hours worth of entertainment ready for me to go through if a major internet blackout happens. Otherwise I got J.R.R Tolkien's books of Hobbit and Lord of...

Contest Reply Game: The Monkey's Paw

Granted, but your buttocks will inflate to a size that doesn't go unnoticed for anyone you come across in the street. I wish desserts made your metabolism faster and rapidly lose weight as a result.
